Cuban American Alliance Education Fund, Inc. - CAAEF

"Working outside ideological constraints, within the dynamics of the Cuban American Community, in cooperation with more than 40 U.S. organizations, in compliance with U.S. law, and respectful of the sovereignty and independence of Cuba, we strive to put a human face on the ongoing hardships caused by the lack of normal relations between the U.S. and Cuba. CAAEF calls for a reassessment of U.S. policies that are outside the best interests of the American people and that also carry undue harm toward Cubans and Americans.

Our sphere of action includes congressional visits, family linking, and engagements of mutual benefit to Cubans and Americans. Our board members assist in the establishment of:
sister-city projects, community assistance programs, visits by Cuban professionals, student exchange programs, ties between Cubans and African American organizations, and fund-raising events for medical projects. Thus forging engagements that promote understanding and human compassion between the people of both nations.

In order for us to have an effective voice within the body of American politics and public opinion, we strengthen ties between Cuban American organizations, academics, health professionals, the business community, religious organizations, and individuals across the U.S. We also strive to facilitate coalition building efforts between organizations and individuals who share these common goals. If you are interested and want to help, join us today by calling 202-543-6780 on the east coast and 510-538-9694 on the west coast, or send us an e-mail at caaef@igc.org"
